These parkway improvements consist of an improved one-way road and bike lane, separate pedestrian and bicycle paths, additional landscaping, new parking areas, safety railings, and improvements to the small neighborhood park at 32nd Avenue, including a new public restroom. Interpretive exhibits are also included along this part of the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary Scenic Trail as it proceeds through the Live Oak area between the cities of Santa Cruz and Capitola.
